The quality of care we provide to our patients stems from the expertise and continuous education of our specialists. We are particularly proud to announce that Dr. Matteo Pizzamiglio has completed a Master’s Program in Clinical Phlebology and Aesthetic Treatment of Lower Limb Disorders, held in Spain between October 2024 and December 2025.
A Comprehensive Approach to Leg Health
This international training program has enabled Dr. Pizzamiglio to enhance his expertise in diagnosing and treating the main venous pathologies: from chronic venous insufficiency to varicose veins, from edema to venous ulcers, and lymphatic disorders. The Master’s program also included training in the latest imaging and vascular diagnostic techniques.
Minimally Invasive Techniques and Scientific Research
The curriculum devoted significant attention to minimally invasive treatments, sclerotherapy, and endovascular therapies. Particularly noteworthy was the final Master’s thesis: a study on the systemic effects of low-concentration sclerotherapy, based on the technique patented by Dr. Paolo Casoni. This research opens new perspectives on the broader benefits of the therapy, confirming our Center’s commitment to scientific innovation.
What This Means for Our Patients
Patients who come to Centro Medico Ippocrate can rely on a personalized approach based on the latest international scientific evidence, with a dual objective: addressing functional problems and improving the aesthetic appearance of the legs.
